I first met Gunner when he was in the sick wing and immediately fell in love. He was a tiny little pocket pittie with a jumbo heart. His joy and big blocky smile were contagious. I loved my time with him a few days later he was given a euthanasia deadline because he couldn’t overcome his cold. I was heartbroken but soon very relieved to learn he was adopted. Sadly, Gunner was returned 3 weeks later. He now requires a foster New Hope Rescue to save him. In the home, Gunner was introduced to cats
