Kilimanjaro summit night is the grueling final ascent to Uhuru Peak (Africa's highest point), starting around midnight to reach the summit by sunrise, involving a long, cold, dark hike up and then most of the way back down, testing trekkers with extreme cold, altitude, and physical endurance, requiring meticulous layering, proper hydration/nutrition, and a slow, steady pace to navigate the rocky scree and cold temperatures, culminating in an iconic sunrise view before the challenging descent.#mo
